He has delivered over 500 keynote speeches, everywhere from the London School of Economics to the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva.

How did a former inmate who spent 22 years on Death Row for a crime he didn’t commit decide to devote his life to the pursuit of kindness? “I began speaking to myself nicely,” says Nick Yarris. “I began to love myself. I softened my voice. I stopped being angry.” Since his release in 2004, he has been traveling the world to share his message with rapt audiences. He speaks on human rights, the judicial system, mental health, and trauma.
