Nick Yarris is a former inmate who served 22 years on Death Row for a crime he didn’t commit. While on Death Row, he decided to devote his life to education and live every day with kindness.

He has delivered over 500 keynote speeches, everywhere from the London School of Economics to the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva.

How did a former inmate who spent 22 years on Death Row for a crime he didn’t commit decide to devote his life to the pursuit of kindness? “I began speaking to myself nicely,” says Nick Yarris. “I began to love myself.
